Terms of Service
Effective Oct 22, 2026
These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Skrt Logistics LLC. They cover account use, shipment posting and booking, payment, cancellations, your responsibilities, damage claims, and dispute resolution.
1.Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Skrt Logistics LLC, a California limited liability company ("Skrt Logistics," "we," "us" or "our"). They govern your use of the Skrt mobile app, website and related services (together, the "Services"). By creating an account, requesting a price, posting or booking a shipment or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Important: Section 10 contains an arbitration agreement and class action waiver that affect how disputes are resolved. You may opt out as described there.
Where we operate. We arrange transport within the contiguous United States only. We can't arrange transport to or from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or other U.S. territories.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, such as a dealership or auction, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business, and "you" includes that business.
Electronic signatures and records. You agree that signing in the app or on our website (for example, signing the shipment agreement before your job is posted) is a legally binding electronic signature, and that we may provide agreements, Bills of Lading, receipts and notices to you electronically.
Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms in the app and on our website with a new effective date, and we will give reasonable advance notice of material changes. Changes do not apply to shipments booked before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
2.Our role: we are a broker, not a carrier
Skrt Logistics is a property broker registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) under MC552832 and USDOT 6320412. We arrange vehicle transportation by connecting people and businesses who want to ship vehicles ("Shippers") with independent, licensed motor carriers ("Carriers").
- We do not transport vehicles. We do not own or operate trucks, and we do not take possession, custody or control of your vehicle.
- Carriers are independent. Each Carrier is an independent business, not our employee, agent or partner. The Carrier that accepts your shipment is solely responsible for transporting it, including loading, securing, driving and unloading.
- Carrier screening. We arrange shipments through our dispatch platform partner, Super Dispatch, and use Carriers that have been verified through that platform, including checks of FMCSA operating authority and insurance. We rely on that verification and do not separately audit each Carrier. Verification is not a guarantee of any Carrier's performance.
- Surety bond. As required by federal law, we maintain a broker surety bond or trust fund (BMC-84 or BMC-85) of at least $75,000.
The contract of carriage for your shipment is between you and the Carrier. We act as your broker to arrange it and to help manage communication, scheduling, payment and claims.
3.Accounts and use of the Services
Your account. You need an account to post or book a shipment. You can sign up or sign in with a U.S. mobile phone number and a one-time code we text to it, or, in the app, with Sign in with Apple or Google; every account must have a verified U.S. phone number. The app and our website use the same account. We do not use passwords. You may also turn on two-factor authentication, which sends a code to your phone each time you sign in. You agree to give accurate, current and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your phone, email and sign-in accounts secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at info@goskrtapp.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
License to use the Services. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the app on devices you own or control, and to use our website, for your personal or internal business use.
Communications. By creating an account, you agree that we and the assigned Carrier may contact you by email, phone, text message and app notification about your account, prices and shipments, including sign-in codes. Message and data rates may apply. We will send marketing messages only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to texts or using the unsubscribe link in emails. Calls with our support team may be recorded; we will tell you at the start of the call.
Text message updates. If you check "Text me updates about my shipment" (on our website or in the app), Skrt Logistics will send automated text messages to the mobile number on your account about your shipments: carrier requests, booking, pick up reminders, pick up and delivery, and payment notices. Usually 5 to 10 texts per shipment; frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent isn't a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP to any text to opt out (or turn texts off on your shipment page), and START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@goskrtapp.com or (626) 200-6835. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Sign-in codes are sent whenever you log in, whether or not you opt in to text updates.
Ratings. After delivery, you may rate your shipment (thumbs up or down) and leave a comment. We use ratings to monitor service quality and Carrier performance.
Suspension. We may suspend or close your account if you violate these Terms, provide false information, fail to pay amounts owed, or use the Services in a way that creates risk or legal exposure for us, Carriers or other users.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → More → Delete Account), on our website (Your shipments → Delete account) or by contacting us. Deleting your account cancels any shipment that is posted but not yet booked with a Carrier, at no charge. You cannot delete your account while a Carrier is booked or your vehicle is in transit; cancel the booking (subject to Section 5) or wait until delivery. Shipments already booked remain subject to these Terms. Some records are kept after deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
4.Prices, posting, booking and payment
Prices. When you enter your route and vehicle, the app or our website shows an estimated delivery price for each transport type (open or enclosed), based on typical pricing for the route and the information you provide, including pickup and delivery locations, vehicle year, make, model, running condition and requested dates. Prices shown are estimates and are not held for any period. If the information you gave is inaccurate or incomplete, the price may change. A price may also increase if your shipment cannot be booked at the price shown; we will not book your shipment at a higher price unless you approve it. While your shipment is posted, you may raise the delivery cost you're offering at any time (for example, when no Carrier has requested it yet); a higher offer applies only once you confirm it in the app or on our website.
Posting and booking.
- 1Sign the shipment agreement. Before your shipment is posted, you review and electronically sign our shipment agreement in the app or on our website and add a payment method. Nothing is charged at this step.
- 2Post. We post your shipment to our Carrier network. Posting is free, and you can cancel a posted shipment at no charge any time before a Carrier is booked.
- 3Choose a Carrier. Carriers request your shipment. You review each Carrier's details and price in the app or on our website and accept one. Your shipment is booked when you accept a Carrier.
Pickup and delivery dates are estimated windows, not guarantees. Weather, traffic, road closures, mechanical issues, regulations and other factors outside our control can cause delays.
What you pay. Your shipment has two parts, both shown in the app or on our website before you book:
- Pick up fee: $299, paid to Skrt Logistics for our brokerage service. This is the only amount charged through the Services.
- Delivery cost: the Carrier's price for transporting your vehicle, as shown when you accept the Carrier. It reflects the transport type (open or enclosed) and the timing you chose, such as an as-soon-as-possible pickup. You pay it directly to the Carrier's driver at delivery, usually in cash; many Carriers also accept Zelle or Venmo. It is not processed through the Services.
Payment. You authorize us and our payment processor, Stripe, to save your payment method and charge it for the pick up fee and any other fees described in these Terms. We do not charge the pick up fee when you post or book. We charge it once, after the Carrier picks up your vehicle and the pickup Bill of Lading is signed.
Receipts. We email a receipt for every card charge to the email on your account. Every receipt is also in the app, under Account → Shipments.
Additional charges. Charges beyond the confirmed price may apply only for circumstances you cause or that differ from what you told us, such as an inoperable vehicle listed as running, oversized or modified vehicles, extra waiting time, a failed pickup or delivery attempt, or storage when no one is available to receive the vehicle. We will notify you of any such charge and the reason before it applies.
Taxes and failed payments. Prices do not include taxes unless stated. If we can't charge the pick up fee, we may try your card again and send you payment reminders by app notification. The pick up fee must be paid before your vehicle is delivered. If it isn't, we may ask the Carrier to hold your vehicle until it is paid, and you are responsible for any storage or waiting charges this causes. While a balance is unpaid, you can't book new shipments, and unpaid balances may be sent to collections as permitted by law.
5.Cancellations, changes and refunds
You can cancel a shipment in the app, on our website or by contacting us. What you owe depends on where your shipment is:
- Before a Carrier is booked. Free. Your posting is removed from our Carrier network.
- Free cancellation window. If, at the time you book, the scheduled pickup date is more than 24 hours away, you may cancel free of charge within 24 hours of booking, as long as pickup is still more than 24 hours away when you cancel.
- Outside that window. If you cancel after the free cancellation window closes, or if the scheduled pickup date was already less than 24 hours away when you booked, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the pick up fee ($299). This is a separate charge for canceling and does not mean your vehicle was picked up.
- After pickup. If the vehicle has already been picked up, the pick up fee has been charged and is not refundable, and you owe the Carrier the delivery cost.
Changes. Changes to locations, dates or vehicle details may change the price or require a new Carrier. We will show you any price change for approval before it applies.
If we or the Carrier cancel. If we cannot book a Carrier, or a Carrier cancels, you will not be charged a cancellation fee or dry-run fee, and we will look for another Carrier or you may cancel at no charge. We are not responsible or liable for a Carrier's decision to cancel, and we do not guarantee that a replacement Carrier will be available.
Refunds. The pick up fee is non-refundable once your vehicle has been picked up. If you believe a fee was charged in error, contact us at info@goskrtapp.com before disputing it with your bank. If we agree a fee was charged in error, we will refund it to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days after we process it.
6.Shipper responsibilities
When you post or book a shipment, you agree that:
- 1You have the right to ship the vehicle. You own the vehicle or are authorized by its owner, lienholder or seller to arrange its transport.
- 2Your information is accurate. You will correctly describe the vehicle, including whether it runs, brakes and steers, and any modifications such as lift kits, lowered suspension, oversized tires or roof racks.
- 3The vehicle is ready. At pickup, the vehicle will:have about a half tank of fuel, which we recommend;have no leaks, and a charged battery if listed as operable;have alarms and toll tags disabled or removed; andhave loose or removable exterior parts secured or removed.
- 4Nothing in the cabin. You will remove all personal belongings from the cabin (passenger area) of the vehicle. Carriers are not licensed to transport household goods, and personal items are not covered by Carrier insurance. Any items left in the vehicle are at your own risk, and a Carrier may refuse the vehicle or charge extra if they add weight.
- 5No prohibited cargo. The vehicle will not contain hazardous materials, weapons, ammunition, illegal substances, cash or anything else that is illegal to transport.
- 6Someone will be there. You or your authorized representative (18 or older) will be available at pickup and delivery during the scheduled window, with keys and any needed gate codes or release forms. If you name someone else in the app or on our website to meet the driver, you confirm they've agreed to be contacted by us and the Carrier about the shipment, and you remain responsible for the shipment.
- 7A full address. A city or ZIP code is enough to price and post your shipment. You will give the street address for pickup and delivery after you book a Carrier and before the pickup date, so the Carrier can plan the route.
Inspection and Bill of Lading. At pickup, the Carrier's driver inspects the vehicle, photographs it and notes its existing condition on the Bill of Lading, which you or your representative sign in person with the driver. At delivery, inspect the vehicle before signing. Any new damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery. Signing a clean Bill of Lading can make a later damage claim much harder to prove. The signed pickup and delivery Bills of Lading and inspection photos are available to view in the app and on our website.
Auctions, dealerships and third-party locations. If pickup or delivery is at an auction, dealership, port or storage facility, you are responsible for arranging release, paying any fees they charge, and giving us accurate release information. Delays caused by the facility are outside our control and may result in extra charges.
Failed pickup or delivery. If the vehicle is not ready or no one is available at the scheduled pickup time, the Carrier may leave, and you may owe a dry-run fee equal to the pick up fee ($299). If no one can receive the vehicle at delivery, the Carrier may take it to a nearby secure location, and you are responsible for the related storage and redelivery costs.
7.Damage, loss, claims and insurance
Carrier liability and insurance. The Carrier, not Skrt Logistics, is responsible for loss of or damage to your vehicle while it is in the Carrier's possession, as provided by federal law (including 49 U.S.C. § 14706) and the Carrier's terms. Carriers we use must be verified through our dispatch platform, which confirms they carry cargo and auto liability insurance as required by the FMCSA. Carrier cargo insurance usually does not cover:
- damage caused by the vehicle's own mechanical failure, wear and tear, or pre-existing conditions;
- damage from road debris, weather or other natural events, where the Carrier was not negligent;
- personal items left in the vehicle; or
- aftermarket parts or modifications you did not disclose.
Your own insurance. Your own auto insurance may also cover your vehicle during transport. We recommend checking with your insurer before shipping.
How to file a claim.
- 1Note all new damage on the Bill of Lading at delivery, and take clear, dated photos.
- 2Report the claim to us within 3 business days after delivery, using Report an Issue in the app (you can attach photos and videos) or by email to info@goskrtapp.com, with photos, the Bill of Lading and repair estimates.
- 3We will send the claim to the Carrier and its insurer and help communicate between the parties.
- 4Federal law generally requires a written claim to be filed with the Carrier within 9 months after delivery. Filing with us within the deadline above helps us meet that timeline for you.
Our role in claims. As a broker, we are not liable for loss or damage caused by a Carrier, except where the loss results from our own negligence in selecting or arranging the Carrier, or where applicable law says otherwise. We will make reasonable efforts to help you resolve your claim with the Carrier.
8.Acceptable use, intellectual property and privacy
Prohibited conduct. You agree not to:
- give false, misleading or incomplete information about yourself, a vehicle or a shipment;
- ship a vehicle you do not have the right to ship, or use the Services for any illegal purpose;
- arrange shipments directly with a Carrier you met through the Services in order to avoid our fees, for 12 months after that Carrier handled your shipment;
- harass, threaten or abuse Carriers, drivers or our staff;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer or interfere with the app, or try to access accounts or systems you are not authorized to use; or
- post ratings, comments or other content that is false, defamatory or infringes someone else's rights.
Our intellectual property. The Services, including the app, software, design, text, graphics and the Skrt Logistics name and logo, are owned by Skrt Logistics or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not give you any ownership rights. You may not use our name or logo without our written permission.
Your content. If you submit photos, videos, ratings, comments, feedback or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use it to operate, improve and promote the Services. You confirm you have the right to share it. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information, including the information we share with Carriers to complete your shipment and your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Third-party services. The Services rely on third-party services, such as our payment processor (Stripe), dispatch platform (Super Dispatch), sign-in providers (Apple and Google), website hosting (Vercel) and maps. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
9.Disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification
Disclaimer. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app or website will be uninterrupted or error-free, that estimated dates will be met, or that shipment status or location information shown in the Services will be complete, current or accurate.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost use of the vehicle, rental car costs or lost business opportunities; and
- our total liability for any claim arising from the Services or a shipment is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to Skrt Logistics for the shipment involved, or (b) $100.
This section does not limit a Carrier's liability for your vehicle, and it does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for our fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Indemnification. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Skrt Logistics and its members, managers, employees and agents from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, inaccurate information you provided, or prohibited items in your vehicle.
10.Dispute resolution and arbitration
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.
Informal resolution first. Before starting arbitration or a court case, you and we agree to try to resolve the dispute informally. Send a written notice describing the dispute and the relief you want to info@goskrtapp.com (or we will send one to the email or phone number on your account). If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may proceed.
Binding arbitration. Except as stated below, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (or its Commercial Arbitration Rules for business users). The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. Arbitration will take place in the county where you live or by video, unless we agree otherwise. For consumers, we will pay filing and arbitrator fees as required by the AAA Consumer Rules.
Exceptions. Either party may:
- bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies;
- seek public injunctive relief in court, to the extent the right to do so cannot be waived under California law; and
- seek a court order to stop infringement of intellectual property.
Class action waiver. You and we may bring claims only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will be decided in court, not arbitration.
Your right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing info@goskrtapp.com within 30 days after you first accept these Terms, with your name, the phone number on your account and a statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect the rest of these Terms.
Court venue. Any dispute not subject to arbitration will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
11.General terms
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable federal law, including federal law governing interstate transportation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as weather, natural disasters, accidents, road closures, government actions, labor disputes, or outages of internet or payment systems.
Apple App Store. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store:
- These Terms are between you and Skrt Logistics only, not Apple. Skrt Logistics, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Your license to use the app is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- Skrt Logistics, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
- If a third party claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, Skrt Logistics, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, once you accept these Terms, may enforce them against you as they relate to the app.
Other terms. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the shipment agreement you sign in the app or on our website and any booking confirmation make up the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If the shipment agreement and these Terms conflict, these Terms control. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Sections that by their nature should survive, including payment, claims, limitation of liability, indemnification and dispute resolution, survive termination.
California consumer notice.
